The MR-1 is a Third Generation Knightmare Frame which serves as a tutorial knightmare frame in the Knightmare Battle! game. It is also the first combat capable knightmare frame.

The MR-1 is a transformable knightmare which has the capability to switch between a compact mode and a standing mode. It has a design closer to the more modern knightmares, but it's armor is much thinner for a faster frame. It also has two built in chest mounted slash harkens for combat.
